London, UK 1st June 2004
Logos Technologies, one of the early pioneers in providing world class solutions to pharmaceutical, contract research organisations and biotechnology companies with electronic data capture (EDC) and clinical management solutions today announced the opening of its new purpose built Research & Development facility located on the idyllic South Coast of England in Lymington.

"The new facility will allow us to expand our employee base and R&D activity so we can continue to provide our clients with the most innovative and state of the art solutions" said Simon Kemp, R&D Director of Logos Technologies.

The increasing demand for Logos' products has necessitated the relocation. Logos Technologies was established nine years ago and has grown organically to become one of the market leaders in providing software solutions to the clinical trials marketplace. The Logos Technologies ALPHADAS® Suite is a clinical study management and fully mobile electronic data capture system that provides a reliable, portable solution for EDC, integrates clinical and laboratory operations, accelerates data throughput and enhances data integrity.

In addition, the Phase I Site Tool Kit (STK)™ provides Phase I Clinical Trial Units with a cost effective solution for the complete management of the Phase I clinical Trial Process. There are tools to manage volunteers, patients and site resources. The STK™ also manages a sites Laboratory as well as integrating with the central Laboratory. Logos Technologies SMART Patient Diary Card™ allows patient data entry through a very user friendly, inexpensive, electronic, handheld, diary card. All types of data can be collected including 100- point Visual Analogue Scales. SPDC has been used on real studies with much success.

"The opening of a new R&D facility is an exciting time for the company," says Giles Wilson, Business Development Director of Logos Technologies.
